The sequel to Victorious Boxers, Hajime no Ippo 2: Victorious Road adds new moves, new fighters, and various branching storylines. There is also a new boxer coaching mode, where players create and develop a new fighter from scratch. Coaching mode includes training, diet management, and actual fights. A tournament mode allows for a grand-scale tourney with a maximum of 16 boxers. Player-created and trained boxers can be imported into the tournament and pitted against each other as well.
