Rental Policy

General To rent video games from NumbThumb, you must be 18 years or older and have a valid credit card. NumbThumb reserves the right to reject submissions deemed to be in violation of this rental policy, or any incomplete or illegal submissions. NumbThumb reserves the right to change this rental policy at any time, without notice.
 
Billing CycleYour credit card will be charged monthly on the anniversary day of your first billing date. For example, if you sign on January 1st for a 10-day trial, you will be billed on January 11 for your first month of service. Next month, you will be billed on February 11, and so on.
 
Delinquent BillingsShould there be any issues regarding your regular monthly billing due to problems with your payment method (declined charge, invalid card number, etc), we will temporarily suspend all game shipments until all outstanding payments have been collected. If there are multiple months of payments outstanding, game shipments will not continue until all months have been paid for. NumbThumb reserves the right to charge your card for any or all past due months of service. If you have entered multiple cards into the NumbThumb system, we reserve the right to try any or all of these cards to collect on your past due months of service or for any inventory costs you have incurred.
 
Membership Upgrades or Downgrades You can always change your membership level by contacting customer service. There will be a small charge to upgrade you to your new service level. This charge is the difference between your old level and your new level, prorated for how many days you have left until your next billing date. There is no charge for downgrading your membership.
 
Canceling Your Membership NOTE: This cancellation policy is for month to month subscribers only. Contract subscribers must refer to the specific cancellation policy in the Contract Subscriptions Terms and Conditions.
You can cancel your membership at any time by sending us an email here. A cancellation confirmation will be sent to you and your account will be canceled immediately. We request that you return all of your outstanding rentals within 10 days of cancellation. If we have not received your outstanding rentals after this grace period, you will be charged the full retail price of all unreturned games. Though it is not required, we highly suggest you return these games using a trackable shipping method. The United States Postal Service offers a few inexpensive options that are all acceptable or you can use a commercial shipping company (UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.) which all provide tracking codes. If you cannot provide proof that you sent these packages via one of the tracking codes mentioned above, you will be fully liable for the cost of these games.
 
Refunds and CreditsNumbThumb will not issue refunds or credits for partial months of service. If you feel that we have billed you in error, please contact our customer service department here.
 
Taxes Our video game rental service has been determined by the government to be a taxable service in most states. Therefore, NumbThumb will add the applicable sales tax to your monthly billing amount based on the state that the shipping address is in.
 
Lost or Damaged Games If you lose or damage a game, NumbThumb reserves the right to charge the full retail price of the lost or damaged game. Please report a lost or damaged game to our customer service department here.
